Last updated: July 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Math Learning K12 ("MLK12," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use mathlearningk12.com and related services (the "Service"). This Policy is incorporated into, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. Math Learning K12 requires all users to be at least 13 years old; see Section 3, Children's Privacy and Age Requirement for details.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide. When you create an account, we collect your username, full name, date of birth, gender, and password. You may optionally provide an email address, phone number, and profile photo. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (such as your name, email address, and profile picture) from Google, as permitted by your Google account settings. If you contact us for support, we collect the information you include in that communication.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically. We use Firebase Analytics (built on Google Analytics) to collect usage information such as pages viewed, features used, interactions with the Service (for example, sign-up, sign-in, and button clicks), device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Once you are signed in, analytics events are associated with your account so we can understand how the Service is used. We also use cookies as described in Section 5.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including your account, practice sessions, worksheets, lessons, and ebooks;
  • Personalize your experience, such as showing grade- and topic-appropriate content;
  • Communicate with you about the Service and respond to your requests;
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve the Service over time;
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Service and prevent fraud or abuse; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use personal information for behavioral or targeted advertising, and we do not sell personal information to third parties.

3. Children's Privacy and Age Requirement

Math Learning K12 requires all users to be at least 13 years old to create an account or otherwise use the Service. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our registration process asks for a date of birth and does not allow accounts to be created for anyone under this age requirement.

If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information as soon as possible. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@mathlearningk12.com so we can investigate and remove it.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only in the following ways:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service under confidentiality and data protection obligations, such as our cloud hosting and database providers, and Google/Firebase (authentication and analytics infrastructure);
  • Legal and safety reasons, to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of MLK12, our users, or others; and
  • Business transfers, if MLK12 is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to protections at least as protective as this Policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

  • Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember basic preferences; they are necessary for the Service to function.
  • Analytics cookies and identifiers, provided through Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics, help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using certain features of the Service.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of account information at any time as described in Section 8.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, such as password hashing and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and update. You can review and update most of your account information by signing in to your profile.
  • Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting support@mathlearningk12.com.
  • Additional rights. Depending on your location, applicable law may give you additional rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict its processing, or to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12, and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

9. International Data Transfers

MLK12 is based in, and its systems and service providers may be located in, the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those of your home country.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party services such as Google Sign-In. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice before material changes take effect.
